The NC Dinos took another step towards their third consecutive win with the cohesion of overcoming a bases-loaded and scoreless situation.
NC scores three runs in the first inning of Game 3 of the semifinals against SSG Landers at Changwon NC Park on May 25. The team returned to Changwon with two wins away from Incheon. They now need one more win to advance to the playoffs.
Tanner was the starting pitcher for the game. Tanner gave up two singles to Shin-soo Choo and Yu-seom Han in the first inning, putting runners on second and third, but he got Ha Jae-hoon to fly out to shortstop to end the threat.먹튀검증
In the bottom of the next inning, they had their chance. Back-to-back singles by Son As-seop and Park Min-woo put runners on first and second with no outs. However, a strange situation occurred when Park stepped up to the plate. Park hit a grounder to the third baseman and was thrown out at third and second. The runner at first base would have been out. The triple threat was narrowly avoided as Park was safe at first base.
A triple could have turned the tide. NC rekindled the fire. Martin singled through the right side to put runners on second and third. Martin then stole second base to extend the lead to 2-2-3.
Eventually, Kwon Hee-dong hit a two-run double to right center to put the game out of reach. Then, Seo Ho-cheol, the hero who hit the game-winning hit in the wild card game, followed with a double to left-center field. The gap widened to 3-0. SSG’s request for a video replay didn’t change the outcome.
Kim Hyung-joon walked to put runners on second and third, but Kim Joo-won struck out. With three runs in the first inning, SSG took a step closer to a three-game series sweep.
