Tottenham Hotspur are on the radar of the Brazilian national team after their stellar performance against a superstar attacking lineup.
“Tottenham are keeping a close eye on Sebastian Caceres, 24, of CF America, with a view to signing him next January,” British outlet Football Insider reported on Jan. 24.
Tottenham have emerged as Premier League title favorites this season. After nine games in the league, they have seven wins, two draws, and 23 points to lead the table, ahead of Manchester City and Arsenal.
In the January transfer window next year, the club will be looking to add to their trophy cabinet. Spurs manager Enze Postecoglou is looking for a center back to compete with Cristian Romero and Van der Vaart.토스카지노
Caceres is on the list of potential signings. According to the report, Tottenham are keen on signing Caceres to expand their options at the back.
Caceres played the entirety of Uruguay’s World Cup 2026 South American qualifier against Brazil on Sept. 18, and was instrumental in a 2-0 clean sheet victory.
The opposing attacking lineup is stacked. Neymar, Vinicius Junior, and Hodriguez started and knocked on Uruguay’s door, but couldn’t get past Caceres’ wall.
Brazil’s ultra-luxurious attacking lineup also included Premier League players. Gabriel Jesus and Alexandre Lacazette also went head-to-head with Caceres but failed to find the back of the net.
Tottenham’s interest in Caceres has only increased. According to Football Insider, “Tottenham will have plenty of transfer funds to spend in the January transfer window next year. Caceres’ fee will not be a stumbling block.”
“Tottenham are not the only clubs keeping tabs on Caceres, with Manchester United, Newcastle United, Fulham and West Ham also keeping tabs on him,” the publication added.
